The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) has temporarily banned the popular online game player Non-Battle Grounds (PubG) across the country.
According to a statement issued by PTA, in view of various complaints received from various quarters, PTA has decided to suspend PubG Game temporarily.
The statement said the PTA had received several complaints against the game, saying it was addictive, a waste of time, and had serious negative effects on children's mental and physical health.
The PTA said that according to recent reports, there have been suicides in connection with the Pub G game, while the Lahore High Court has also directed the PTA to look into the matter and decide after talking to the complainants.
A hearing in this regard is taking place on July 9, 2020.
In addition, many people around the world, including Pakistan, have committed suicide due to PubG.
It may be recalled that during the last month, 3 youths who were playing in PubG committed suicide.
